The University of Gibraltar will be hosting a second professional Gibraltar Blockchain Educational workshop next week. The event is presented by the GSX Group’s Blockchain Innovation Centre (BIC) which works in collaboration with private and public sector organisations to support and develop a highly-trained workforce for Gibraltar’s new technology businesses.
The BIC’s first workshop, also hosted at the University of Gibraltar and in collaboration with London Blockchain Labs, was held in November last year and was attended by 100 professionals seeking to expand their knowledge on distributed ledger technology and blockchain. The event was a resounding success and the organisers are looking forward to an equally successful workshop this time.
February’s Blockchain Educational workshop will be delivered by DLT and blockchain experts, Eddy Travia and Jean-Louis Carrara from Coinsilium, a company providing investment and advisory services to leading blockchain businesses around the world. This up-coming one-day event aims to provide an overview to businesses and individuals who are looking to work with and benefit from this exciting, dynamic technology. The workshop sessions will include an introduction to blockchain, ICOs and Tokenomics, a hands-on session and will examine the impact of Vertical Industries. It will be a fully participative workshop and attendees are advised to bring along their smartphones on the day to put their learning into practise instantly.
